Balmain local lass Hannah is Locks’ cutting director. She balances her soft texture cutting expertise with complementing colours and a style finish to create a beautiful ‘total look’ for our guests. A short-hair maestro, curl connoisseur, and restyle specialist, she has also achieved global recognition as a Redken Certified Hair Colourist.

BOHDAN

 SENIOR  STYLIST

Bohdan (pron Bogdan) brings with him from Easten Europe an artistic passion to lovingly create beautiful hair, to help you look your most ‘amAzing’. His creativity makes every colour & cut a unique work of art. He specialises in long hair ombre, lightening, styling and Keratin smoothing and is also a Redken Certified Balayage Colourist

EMERGING STYLIST

From Cairns to Darwin to Locks, Layla is now well into her hairdressing apprenticeship with us. See Layla for a meticulous colour application followed by a personalised treatment, releasing massage and beautiful blow wave. Behind her seemingly shy smile is a lively  aspiring hairdresser, who is eager to learn.

Isabella is our newest senior stylist, having joined us from Adelaide and proudly graduating in 2025. Izzy performs all mid-long length cuts and colours with exacting precision and utmost care. She has quietly earnt the loyalty of many guests that she looked after in her formative years, and continues to nurture her relationship with them as she grows her own skills.

Ben

The salon’s founder Diane has retired, and her son Ben continues her legacy. They   believe that the salon and its guests should have an ongoing relationship of trust. Ben leads the team by demonstrating a caring service culture, supporting the team’s needs, and by continually developing individual skills and talents. His role is to ensure that the salon’s guests have had a wonderful experience and have left Locks Hair with a beautiful result they can maintain between services.
